Sandwell Conservatives represent the constituencies of Warley, West Bromwich East and West Bromwich West. As an association we are bound by the constitution of The Conservative and Unionist Party. We aim to uphold Conservative values by electing local borough councillors and Members of Parliament. Our members are from all wards within Sandwell and reflect the diversity of our great borough. Sandwell is within the West Midlands Combined Authority, Sandwell Conservatives work closely with Mayor Andy Street OBE to further his work to make the West Midlands a better place!
The work of Sandwell Conservatives is managed by the federation officer team who are elected at the annual general meeting(AGM). The most recent AGM took place in July 2022.
We are proud to have 10 sitting borough councillors and 2 Members of Parliament.
In 2019 Shaun Bailey MP and Nicola Richards MP were elected to represent West Bromwich West and West Bromwich East respectively. Since their election, they have fought for Sandwell residents by bringing ministers attentions to the failures of Sandwell Council.
The Sandwell Conservative mission is to:
1) Clean up Sandwell
We want to see Sandwell tidy. Residents should have access to regular bin collections, including food waste, and our streets should be regularly cleaned.
2)Preserve our Green Spaces
Alongside our Mayor, Andy Street, we have a policy of only supporting development on Brownfield sites.
3)Tackle crime and anti-social behaviour
Residents of Sandwell should be able to live in peace. Local police stations should be kept open so residents can feel safe.
