Nationally a record 31million are working.

in March, for the 29th month running the number claiming Jobseekers allowance fell, nationally by 20,700. In the West Midlands by 2,518 and in Sandwell by 176.
Behind these statistics lie human stories of people finding a direction in life through getting a job, feeling justifiable pride in being able to support themselves and their families and knowing that they are achieving for their country.
Yesterday, 5025 leaders of small and medium sized businesses, in a letter to the Daily Telegraph applauded what the government had done to help business and employment and expressed their fears of any change saying “The conservative led government has been genuinely committed to making Britain open for business.
They have managed to get the economy moving again by tackling the deficit, helping to keep interests rates low and inflation down.
We would like to see David Cameron and George Osborne given the chance to finish what they started. A change now would be far too risky and undo all the good work of the last five years”
Champagne socialists and closet Marxists will scoff but these are the people who have created 1000 jobs per day under this government, aided by its elimination of red tape and reduction of taxes on employment. Is it really better to be relying on Jobseekers allowance under Labour or enjoying job security under the Conservatives?
